Community Foundation Grants

 

Before applying for a grant from the Community Foundation of Switzerland County, please read the following grant guidelines to ensure that your project/program is eligible. 

 

2017 Grants Program

The Community Foundation is offering three different grants programs for 2017.

1.  Immediate Response Grants

Requests that are $2,000 and under.  Applications can be submitted at any time throughout 2017 up until December 1st.  Decisions on funding will be made by the Foundation within 15 days of submission.

2.  Fixed Cycle Grants

Requests over $2,000.  Applications must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. on either March 1st or September 1st.  Decisions on funding will be made by the Foundation within 60 days of the deadline.  Fixed Cycle Grants will go through a more intensive evaluation process.

The Immediate Response Grants and the Fixed Cycle Grants use the same online grant application.

3.  Leadership Training Grants

These grants are specifically to help pay for the registration fess for conferences, workshops, webinars, and other forms of professional development for staff and volunteers of nonprofit organizations serving Switzerland County.  These grants can't be used to pay for accomodations and travel expenses.  Requests can be up to $500 per organization.  There are no deadlines and the program will continue until funding is depleted.  Decisions on funding will be made by the Foundation within 15 days of submission.
