Workforce Education Coordinator and Grant Writer
Job Description


The Community Foundation of Switzerland County, Inc. recently entered into a 10-year partnership with the Switzerland County Economic Development Corporation and the Switzerland County Commissioners/Council to accelerate workforce education and economic well-being among the people of Switzerland County. The first step of this initiative is to secure a full-time Workforce Education Coordinator and Grant Writer who will report to the Executive Director of the Foundation while working constructively with representatives of all three sponsoring entities. The successful candidate will occupy an office in the Switzerland County Technology and Education Center (TEC), located in Vevay, IN.


Nature and scope of work


The Workforce Education Coordinator and Grant Writer will bear significant responsibility for conceptualization, management, coordination, quality control, and public accountability of adult and youth training services needed by businesses, industry, government, and nonprofit employers. Specific tasks include the following:
